Dads, Love and Poop

Yesterday we celebrated 3 great things.  Tim and I have been married for 6 years now!  And it's been a great 6 years.  We also celebrated our great dads.  Tim and I have the best dads around and we are so thankful for everything that they do and have done for us.  And my boys have an amazing dad.  They love Tim so much.  When he gets home from work, they drop everything  and run to the door with open arms shouting, "Daddy!"  It's one of my favorite parts of the day.  And this is pretty exciting, James pooped and peed in the toilet!  Julianne got him to do it.  He never would for me.  Hopefully, this is something that will continue, but I'm not holding my breath.  Potty training is not the easiest thing around this house.

Julianne and I took the boys to the zoo on Friday and Matthew was mad at me for taking a picture.  He wanted to look at the baboon, not the camera.

Wow, who is the lucky lady that gets to live with them?

I might be a little biased, but I think these are the most handsome boys ever.
James is getting so close to sitting up, when he gets around to thinking about it. And yes, Matthew is wearing pull-ups in this picture. In case any of you are wondering, the answer is yes, all hope has been lost. Matthew will be 16 and I will still be wiping that rear end.

WAHOO!

Drum roll, please... MATTHEW POOPED IN THE TOILET!!!! Whoever said bribing children was wrong, obviously didn't have children or they were born potty trained. Because when you're changing a diaper and the kid is telling you that you missed a spot, it's time to pull out the big guns. That's right, a Blo Pop sucker for every time you poop in the toilet. And it works! Matthew can't get enough. He's really cleaning out his system. I cannot tell you how happy I am. Yeah Matthew!
