We decided to take the kids to Lagoon the other day.  Matthew loved it.  He had such a great time and didn't want to leave.  But his eight month pregnant mother was a little worn out after 10 hours of kiddie rides.  Go figure.
Here the kids are just after we arrived.  All fresh and ready to get started.

James and Laney loved the boat rides.  I remember loving the boats.

James wasn't so sure about Bulgey the whale after it started.  It goes a lot faster than you would think.  he cried for just  minute, but quickly got over it and enjoyed the ride.  When I was around his age they had to stop this same ride because I was crying so much.  We're more alike than just our looks, I guess.  He's just a bit braver.

This was one of Matthew's favorite rides.  He loves to shoot guns.

The kids loved "driving" their own cars.

I love this one of Matthew in the front.  Check out that hat.  He says he was hiding, but that he had fun on this one.

The unpredictability of kids...

This morning I decided that I'd take the boys to the zoo so they could run around and get some energy out.  Then we would head over to Tim's office and meet for lunch.  Well, just as I was taking the zoo exit, James decided that he didn't want to keep his breakfast down anymore.  His head was turned towards Matthew has he "throwed his bones" and the compassionate big brother said, "Eww, James, turn your head the other way.  I don't want to see that stuff."  Ah, brotherly love.  Anyway, since we were close to Tim's office I drove over there and cleaned James up in the parking lot.  Tim came outside to "help" but mostly just said, Oh, that's gross."  Hmm, maybe I know where Matthew gets it from.  But in fairness to Tim, I told him to just keep on eye on the clothing-less James (as he ran around the parking lot, so sick).  No need in both parents catching whatever bug this was.  But I was so excited to get some new shots of my boys at the zoo to post on here.  I haven't been around much, but decided to get back into it full swing.  Anyway, because I couldn't get any new pictures today, here's some from when Lindsey and her fam were in town.

Laney would put her face right up to a spout and then be shocked when water shot out of it.  She did this a million times until one got her really good.

James pretty much stood on the edge, watching the other kids.  Every now and then he would run over to us and squeal.  I think he really thought he was playing in the water.

I really do feed this kid.

A Little More Utah Fun...

We stayed a few extra days in Utah so we could get everything in.  Like shopping at Shopko :)  This is how Laney likes to shop.  She likes to be in charge.
Snow?  In April?  This was James' first time in the snow.  He loved it.
These two are so cute together.  It was fun watching them play and fight.  They both have grown so much.  Last summer doesn't seem long enough ago.

What Happens in St. George, Stays in St. George

Spring Fling.  Just as quickly as it arrived, it was over.  We had such a blast.  All of us girls (ages 18 and up), minus one, were able to be there.
Would you like to know who is who?  Starting from the back, left to right;
Wendy, Jean, Karen, Annie, Tracy, Lori, LaRey, McKenzie, Jennifer, Kerri, Lisa, Bridgett, Christi, Jace, Ardith, Jennica, Michelle, Cynthia, Lindsey, James, Jamie, McKell, Me, Lisa, Edie, Laney, and Nicci

It was so much fun to get our babies together.  Shortly after this pic was taken, James started splashing and screaming.  Jace did NOT like that and immediately started screaming, too.  But it wasn't the happy kind.  And yes, there is a happy kind.
We laid out by the pool and soaked up some rays.  But don't worry, my generation is a little bit better about getting sunscreen on our kids.  Did you know that 80% of your skin damage occurs before you are 6?!  Just a number I thought I might throw out there, moms.
We practiced our toe touches.  Go McKell!  Look at the air she got.  I hear I did pretty good also.  And check out that sunflower wreath/monstrosity.  I was tempted to hide it in my suitcase.
And we did a lot of driving.  So much driving, the rugrats had to take over for a while.
It was such a fun trip.  Bonding with the girls, nothing can measure up to it.  I'm already looking forward to next year!

I wanna hold your hand...

When you put these two together, they are always tugging on ears, faces, or even putting their arms around each other. It is so cute.

Sweet Home Alabama

Matthew thinks Christmas is great. You get to open presents on 3 separate occasions. The morning after we got into Birmingham, the boys got to open their presents from Grandpa James and Grandma.

This is the crib I slept in when I was a baby, and snuck into after Lindsey was born (I was only 18 months old when I started sleeping in a big bed). We would play in the crib all morning. It's fun that my kids get to stay in it when we come to visit.

I love having such a happy baby. This kid is almost always content.

I might be a little biased, but I think I have the cutest niece around.

It is so fun to see the cousins all together. James and Laney love all the same toys, especially the ones that we don't have two of. Laney is 10 weeks younger than James, but about the same size. Every where we go, people ask if they are twins. They do look an awful lot alike. I love this pic, it looks like they are having a conversation.

Here's our new niece! Isn't she a cutie?! She looks just like her mom.
And you can definitely tell she and James are cousins.

Welcome Baby Girl Mallory!

The newest member of the Lindsey and Adam Mallory family was born today, just minutes ago! She is 7 lbs and 7 oz and doing well. She has Adam's nose, but looks like Lindsey and has hair about an inch long! A first for the Huff family! We are so excited to meet her! I'll post more updates, like a name, and hopefully some pictures! She is such a cutie!
