Peanut... Peanut Butter... and Bologna?

I hope we haven't been too sorely missed.  But judging from my last post, I'm not very memorable in the first place.  *sigh*  Our internet has been very sporadic lately.  It has been very hard to get anything done on it.  But we're back now and ready to post some fun.

Matthew has loved eating *gulp* peanut butter and, ahem, bologna sandwiches.  Now before you vomit, just know that this is one of the only things I can get him to eat entirely.  So of course I shudder the whole time I'm whipping it up, but I take what I can get.  He's skin and bones as it is.  The boy needs some sustenance.
And here's James enjoying lunch, sans the peanut butter and bread.  Look he matches my couch and wall!  I so planned that.  Not really, don't worry.

Remember that time...

A few of my friends have done this and I thought it looked like fun, so I'll give it a try.
Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, a long time, haven't spoken to me in years or talk every day, anything that you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll leave one for you at your blog.  So have fun strolling down memory lane .

Myrtle Beach

So here they are, our pictures from Myrtle Beach. I have over 600 hundred pictures, so this is only a fraction of the fun we had. Enjoy!

Hickeys and Annoying Moms

So I have 2 funny stories about Matthew.
About a week ago, Matthew stuck a suction cup to his forehead and gave himself a huge hickey.  It was there for about a week.  So funny.  This picture does not give it credit.  It was so red.
Today was Matthew's second day of preschool.  If I were to describe the kid, a man of few words is not a phrase I would use.  Sometimes you can't get him to shut his , although very cute, mouth for 10 seconds.  Except when it comes to talking about preschool.  He'll answer your first 2 questions and then he is done.  So to annoy him, I know I'm such a good mom, I just kept rambling off question after question.  Finally he said, "Alright!  That is it.  I am done with this, Mom.  No more talking about school."  He's such a funny kid.

Caged Animals

When we were moving in we had a hard time keeping James out of everything.  So Tim made a "cage" out of boxes to keep the little animal in one place.
He busted out.  I love how he is on a box marked fragile.
Apparently he has a love of climbing.  And no fear.  I'm trying to decide which is worse.  I'm leaning towards no fear.
If he can turn it over, empty it out, set it on its side, you name it, he's got himself a seat.
Do they have preschool for 16 month olds?

New House

Here's our new house!  It's been a lot of hard work unpacking with two VERY active little boys.  But I'll post new pics when I finish a room.
Matthew loves being a big helper, especially if it means climbing a ladder.  He was helping Tim paint the kitchen.

A-B-C's and 1-2-3's

Matthew started preschool today.  He has been so excited.  He woke up at 7 and was ready to go.  School doesn't start until 9.  So I had a lot of distracting to do.  He really likes his backpack, which was a b-day gift from my mom and dad.  His favorite part is that it has his initials on it.
When I picked him up, all the little kiddies were lined up on the front lawn holding hands.  It was the cutest thing.  When Matthew saw me, his face lit up.  He ran over to me and told me he gets a treat next time because he was so good.  And he painted a bumble bee.
I was able to get some errands done without whining or begging.
Success!

Picture Tag

So, it's been a while. Long time, no see. But I'm back and I'm sure you've all been checking my blog everyday looking for updates. So this is the moment you've been waiting for. What? You haven't been biting your nails until my return? Hmmm.... I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Okay, so first things first. Jamie photo-tagged me a few weeks ago and I thought it would be fun to do. The rules are easy, all you have to do is follow them.  Take a picture of the 10 following items, right away.  There is no wiping, cleaning or straightening.  The pics have to be done as is.  I'm not tagging anyone specifically, but if you want to do this, go for it.  It's fun.

#1 Your closet
#2 Fridge
#3 Laundry Room
(make sure you have all the correct parts before hooking up your washer and dryer or your laundry room looks like
this for 2 weeks while you wait for the parts to arrive in the mail)
#4 Toilet
#5 Kitchen Sink
#6 Favorite Room
(it's the most completed of all my rooms)
#7 Favorite Shoes
#8 Favorite Vacation
#9 Self Portrait (shudder)
Hey Jamie, why didn't my finger make its way into the shot?  ;)
#10 What is your child/children doing right now?
Waking up from a too short nap.
Eating ice cream.
Why did all of my text become underlined?  I guess the last few photos are really important.
