Happy Easter, five days late. Whatever. This is the most posts I've had in one month for a while. Are you proud of me? I am. I almost didn't make it. But here I am.
We had a great Easter weekend. All of Tim's family were in town and we had a blast.
First, the Easter bunny made a visit to our house.
I can't remember why he is crying, but it is fake. So don't feel too sorry for him. But you can discuss how stinkin' cute he is.
All pretty for church.
All the grandkids and Grandma and Grandpa Blood! It was a crazy fun weekend, but so worth the chaos. Love you guys!
James would not do a solo pic or even look at the camera with a grumpy face. He missed out.

For Fall break we headed out east to Alabama to visit my family. The kids had a blast and I loved being with everyone. It is so fun watching these kiddos play and get along. They might be wild and crazy, but they love each other. What more could you ask for?

They loved helping my mom out in the kitchen. Look at James in his pretty apron.

There he is, I bet you were wondering if you'd see him. He's getting so big, but this is pretty much all he does.
Delaney puts together the jazziest outfits. She wore this one out to dinner.
Delaney's blanket had to be washed. So James brought her Holly's blanket to cheer her up. She actually carries Holly's around all the time and Holly uses Delaney's. But every once in a while, she wants the one intended for her. And of course she wants it once it's thrown into the wash.

We went to a pumpkin patch at Old Baker's Farm. It was so much fun, but a cold, cold day. First stop was lunch.

These kiddos chowed down.
We rode some fake horses. This is such a cute idea, btw. These are old tires cut out to be horse swings.
Then we rode some real ones. While these two rode, James would intermittently say, "YEE-HAW!" and Delaney would follow it up with, "Horsies!" as she waved her arms up and down.
Matthew thought the pile of horse poop was pretty funny.
I love my sisters! We are so lucky that we get along so well and have so much in common. One night we stayed up until 5:15 a.m. watching ANTM and Vampire Diaries. We only got about 2 hours of sleep each. Julianne may have gotten more, since she doesn't have a baby to get up with. On just two hours of sleep, we spent the entire day shopping. Go ahead, say it, we're rockstars. I wish we lived closer to each other!
Jacob slept the whole time.
We went through a corn maze. It was such a fun one. The ones I've been in are super easy, but this one actually got us lost a few times. The kids loved it and we were all a muddy mess by the time we were done. But it was well worth it.

The End.

While we were up in Utah, we made a trip down to Gateway for a day of shopping, food, and water fun.  It was a beautiful day and the whole center was bleeding red (the U had a game that day).  We met my mom's family for some dinner.  I didn't realize until now that my grandma isn't in this picture, she must be taking it.  Sorry Grandma!
My little family has a problem with looking at the camera apparently.

(Grandpa Levinthal, David, Lindsey (Joe's girlfriend), Joe, Cynthia, my mom, Matthew, Julianne, James, Moi
We spent at least 45 minutes at the fountain.  The boys could not get enough.  James never really got in the water, but I think he thought he did.

Matthew loved the steam.  He would come running out of it with a huge grin on his face.

Wet surfaces + Slippery shoes = Ouchies

James just squatted and watched the water for a few minutes.  It was so funny.  He must have amazing thigh strength.

Finally, Matthew was worn out and wet and ready to go.

Labor Day

For Labor Day we went to Tim's parents' house for some swimming and dinner.  Tim's cousin Bill and his family came up, too.  We had so much fun with them.  And we live so close to them, we should get together more often.
Matthew and Betsy really hit it off.
I think the best for James was the chips and guacamole.  He couldn't get enough of it.

To Grandmother's House We Go...

...and Grandpa's.
We've been at my parents' house for a few days now and have been having a lot of fun.

Matthew and Delaney have been captivated by movies.

Enjoyed some delicious burgers.  And even showed how yummy they were for pictures.

Grabbed some lunch at The Depot and spotted turtles in the river.

We are having so much fun, but miss Tim!  We can't wait to see you Friday morning.
Tomorrow we're headed to the beaches of South Carolina.  I'll post again next week.  Until then, Happy Summer!

To Grandmother's House We Go...

While Tim and I were in Hawaii, the boys got to visit Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Matthew and Matthew got in a lot of Wii time.  Playing while standing on chairs makes you better, I guess.
They visited the zoo and the Matthews took a ride on a camel.
Matthew had so much fun and thought he was staying for 20 days rather than 9.  He was a little disappointed when it was time to come home.
James didn't come home walking, but he sure weighs about 5 pounds more.  And I think he got away with a lot more at Grandma's than he does at home.

Sweet Home Alabama

Matthew thinks Christmas is great. You get to open presents on 3 separate occasions. The morning after we got into Birmingham, the boys got to open their presents from Grandpa James and Grandma.

This is the crib I slept in when I was a baby, and snuck into after Lindsey was born (I was only 18 months old when I started sleeping in a big bed). We would play in the crib all morning. It's fun that my kids get to stay in it when we come to visit.

I love having such a happy baby. This kid is almost always content.

I might be a little biased, but I think I have the cutest niece around.

It is so fun to see the cousins all together. James and Laney love all the same toys, especially the ones that we don't have two of. Laney is 10 weeks younger than James, but about the same size. Every where we go, people ask if they are twins. They do look an awful lot alike. I love this pic, it looks like they are having a conversation.
