Matthew has a pair of pajamas that have black widows all over the shirt and pants. To say it freaks him out a little bit is an understatement. The other night he did not have any other pajamas and the black widows were his only choice. It was a fight to get them on. Finally he conceded, but only with the bottoms. He requested a white t-shirt and then said, "I have to tell you, Mom, now I'm going to have a dream about a giant black widow that kills me." Luckily, he didn't. But that's because he prayed for good dreams and Heavenly Father sent them his way. The faith of a child.

Are you sure this isn't my kid? I wouldn't want to sleep in pajamas with black widows either! Yikes.
He is so darling! I love that picture of him too. And to answer your question from my blog...YES! I am so excited that I have been giddy all week! I can't wait!
Every time I read your blog, I think to myself "Monica is the cutest mom, you should try and be more like her!"
Sorry, random comment...I was just thinking about how cute Matthew was the other day. I love the things that come out of his mouth. Then I started laughing at this comment he made a long time ago. I couldn't stop laughing. I was in Target and felt so stupid because I couldn't control myself. Anyways, I think you were in Target too when he said it. You guys were standing in line and his first sentance was "Mom? Did you toot?" When you tried to hush him and tell him "No" he then replied "Did you poop then?" You have got to love that kid!
I forgot about that! We were in Joann Fabric, but that's how the conversation went. And just for the record, I did not toot or poop. But it was a little smelly, so someone must have. But it's funny you should bring this up because yesterday when I was in Target, James tooted (isn't that a funny word?) and Matthew laughed and said really loud, "Mom, you tooted!"
